Going From WhatsApp to Signal Really Quick
People are deleting whatsApp, and switching to signal due to whatsapp’s latest privacy policy changes, is this you?

We all know what WhatsApp is, and people still use Whatsapp even after the latest changes, need I say that some don’t even know that these changes took place, worst of all some don’t even care.

Signal is an encrypted messenger app that let’s you send messages, and media files on the internet. This can be used as a replacement for WhatsApp “apparently” or simply as a replacement for your default SMS app which is how I started using signal. Most of what you’d want to use like video calls, and group conversations is possible on Signal. But, when it comes to features WhatsApp wins.
If the topic is privacy then Signal is your go to app. It is safe to say that it’s a matter of choice. My question to everyone leaving Whatsapp for Signal is; Why are you still on Facebook? This may be just how I see it but, if you’re complaining about these changes and still on Facebook then it’s pointless don’t you think? Moving on…
Why is everyone running away from WhatsApp?
— Whatsapp is forcing users to share personal data with Facebook, this has people going crazy. I assume that most of these people don’t use Facebook. Whatsapp privacy-policy updates; https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/updates/privacy-policy/?lang=en
Signal has been getting quite a rain of users due to these changes. On the other side we also have Telegram but that’s a story for another day.
Did you know?
The computer programmer and internet entrepreneur Brian Acton is the executive chairman of the Signal foundation. The same man that co-founded WhatsApp and left it after it was acquired by Facebook back in February 2014. The same guy that suggested people leave Facebook back in 2018 https://twitter.com/brianacton/status/976231995846963201
If we knew so much about everything we use on a daily basis maybe we wouldn’t use so much. Choose wisely.
