Sometimes I don’t really see…

I don’t see things I just hear stuff
Never had the chance to get starstruck

I’ve always had money but never seen much
Never seen a cheque, a casheer, banks or people give f#cks!

I’ve always had eyes, but never had sight
I’ve always had time but never seen watch

I’ve always been late, made people angry but never seen light
Never seen fight, never seen the sun, your teeth, your eyes or how bright

I’ve always seen black, and white
As far as races went, isn’t that right?
I’ve always seen death it’s dark

I never could tell whether it’s day or night
I never could tell whether it’s grey or white
I never could tell if you’re straight, narrow gay or white?

By now, you probably know I don’t see much
I was born blind, and I’m afraid I might die as such

I never could tell what difference feels like
I’ve never seen different, I’ve only seen blind
I don’t really speak blind, see deaf, watch none

But I see fake, watch lies
Stargaze sometimes
Fake news gets likes
Hear the radio sometimes, but it doesn’t change the fact… I’m blind
