DuckDuckGo is one of the best Google alternative search engines available online even after we learned about the agreement they have with Microsoft and the tracking behind it but, it isn’t the only option available more on this matter here.
There’s Swisscows a perfect Google search alternative you can use for your searches on your Desktop computer or your mobile phone. Just like DDG you can get Swisscows for iOS and Android devices.
What follows are two things that Swisscows and DuckDuckGo have in common these may and may not have to do with actual internet searches or security depending on your point of view but, these are things I found out both companies have in common and decided to share with you. I hope you enjoy!
Privacy focussed search engines
Both search engines value user privacy and claim not to store user data. Your searches are yours alone and once you’re done using or looking up whatever you do, once you delete or close the tab it’s gone, lost and encrypted thanks to HTTPS they claim to store nothing at all.
